Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PlayerCalc does with data when you use the calculators on https://www.playercalc.com. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

• There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or payment details.
• Everything you type into a calculator stays in your browser — the calculation runs locally and the numbers you enter are not sent to us.
• We use cookies for aggregate traffic statistics and, where ads are shown, for advertising. Both are described below, including how to turn them off.

What we do not collect

No account system, no newsletter, no contact form database. If you email us, we have your email — that is the only personal data this site ever holds, and only because you chose to send it.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider records standard request information: the page requested, the time, an approximate location derived from IP address, the referring page, and the browser and operating system version. This is used to serve the site and to understand which pages break or get used. It is not combined with any identity.

We also use privacy-respecting page analytics to count visits and see which calculators are used. These give us aggregate numbers — page views, referrers, country — not individual profiles, and they are not used to build advertising audiences.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. PlayerCalc uses them for two purposes only:

• Analytics — to count visits and distinguish a returning visitor from a new one so numbers are not double-counted.
• Advertising — described in the next section, and only where ads are displayed.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The calculators keep working — they do not depend on cookies.

Third-party advertising

This site is supported by display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. This includes the use of the DoubleClick DART cookie for ads served on this site.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may also place or read cookies on your browser when ads are shown here.
• PlayerCalc does not control third-party cookies, and does not receive the personal data those vendors collect.

How to opt out of personalised advertising

• Google: visit Google Ads Settings to opt out of personalised advertising. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
• Alternatively, visit youronlinechoices.com (EU/UK) or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
• Opting out does not remove ads. It makes them non-personalised, which usually means they are less relevant and pay the site less.

Some pages link to external sites — game wikis, official documentation, other tools. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, tell us and we will delete it.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK or a jurisdiction with similar law, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to processing. Given that we hold no accounts and no profiles, in practice the only data we could hold is an email you sent us. Contact us at hello@playercalc.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes — for example, if a new analytics or advertising provider is added — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. We do not notify by email because we do not have your email.
